Out on a Limb, a documentary about the science of prosthetics, won the Boston International Film Festival (BIFF) Indie Spec Best Documentary Award. Winning films were announced at the festival’s closing ceremony on Sunday, April 21. In this film, producer and director Daria Price explores the science that is changing what it means to lose a limb.
A special screening of the film was held at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) 39th Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium, held February 20-23 in Orlando, Florida.
