Össur, headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, has announced organizational changes to its top management.
The company has created a new global sales and marketing function that will operate across geographic areas. Ólafur Gylfason has been appointed executive vice president (EVP) of this new division; he has relocated from Iceland to the United States to assume this position. Gylfason has been with Össur for 17 years, most recently as EVP of global marketing. As a result of these changes Mahesh Mansukhani, president of Össur Americas, Foothill Ranch, California, will leave Össur effective May 31, 2013.
