The Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC) has named J. Ivan Krajbich, MD, FRCS(C), as its new president.
Krajbich is an orthopedic surgeon and the director of the bone tumor program at Shriners Hospitals for Children®-Portland, Oregon, as well as an adjunct associate professor in the department of surgery at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a member of numerous professional organizations and associations including the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the Scoliosis Research Society, the International Society of Limb Salvage, and the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society. Krajbich has given nearly 200 presentations and written more than 100 articles, book chapters, and abstracts in a variety of professional publications and peer-reviewed journals.
