Patrick Prigge, CP, FAAOP, has been named chair of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) Upper-Limb Prosthetic Society (ULPS). He has been a member of the ULPS for five years, recently serving as vice-chair. As chair, Prigge will focus on increasing ULPS membership, providing speakers and clinical content for Academy educational sessions, promoting opportunities that increase written knowledge of upper-limb prosthetics, and increasing networking and educational opportunities for members.
Prigge has been an upper-limb specialist with Advanced Arm Dynamics, Redondo Beach, California, since 2008 and is the clinical manager of the North Central Center of Excellence, Maple Grove, Minnesota.
