The Canadian Amputee Golf Association (CAGA) is accepting applications for its academic scholarship. Five scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded. The application deadline is August 31.
The scholarship is open to Canadian citizens who are pursuing the field of prosthetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, or nursing. Applicants must show financial need and a commitment to charity volunteerism. Preference will be given to individuals with amputations. Upon acceptance, the scholarship winner(s) must become a paid-up lifetime member of CAGA and assist in the promotion of the association, such as writing articles for its website.
