CGS Administrators, the Jurisdiction C Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor (DME MAC), has created an online tool that provides details about the Additional Documentation Request (ADR) letters sent to suppliers and the information requested therein. Suppliers can enter the ADR number into the tool to receive information about who sent the letter, and the type of documentation needed and why it is needed, and links to additional resources and education specific to the type of documentation being requested. CGS has also provided information about the ADR process, including tips on collecting, packaging, and returning the documentation.
The ADR Online Tool can be found under the claims submissions tab on the CGS website.
