The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that the 2015 amount in controversy thresholds for Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) hearings and judicial review will be $150 and $1,460, respectively. The amount in controversy sets the threshold for the minimum claim amount that can be brought before an ALJ or judicial review, the third and fourth levels of the audit claims appeal process. This increase is effective January 1, 2015.
