The Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) will host the second Medicare Appellant Forum on October 29. Officials at the forum will provide updates about the status of its operations and share information about OMHA and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) initiatives to mitigate the Medicare appeals backlog at the OMHA-level of the administrative appeals process.
The forum will be held in Washington DC from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, and a toll-free phone line, and/or live stream technology, and/or webinar will be available. The deadline to register for attendance at the forum is October 24. Registration is not required for online attendance. Additional details can be found on the OMHA page of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) website.
