The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) is soliciting suggestions to address the growth in the number of Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) hearings being filed and the backlog of pending cases. Medicare ALJ hearings are the third level in a four-level appeal process. The request was published in the November 5 issue of the Federal Register.
