Ekso Bionics Holdings, Richmond, California, announced the appointment of Stanley Stern to its board of directors, effective December 9. Stern, an independent director, is a managing partner of Alnitak Capital, New York, a board-level strategic advisory service for technology-related industries, which he founded in 2013. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Oppenheimer & Co., New York, where he led the investment banking department and technology investment banking groups.
Stern is chairman of the board of AudioCodes, headquartered in Lod, Israel, a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) infrastructure equipment company, and is a member of the board and chairman of the audit committee of Foamix Pharmaceuticals, Rehovot, Israel, and Bridgewater, New Jersey.
