Gary William Tremblay, RTPO, of Leduc, Alberta, Canada, passed away suddenly on January 19 at the age of 40.
“Gary was passionate, talented, energetic, and lived life to the fullest,” said a Facebook posting by Troppman Prosthetics, Edmonton, Alberta. “He loved to laugh and he had a wicked sense of humor. He was a great guy to work with and exhibited a tremendous ability to problem solve the various needs of our clients. Our clients loved him because he not only fabricated their prosthetic appliances, but he cared for them as individuals.”
Tremblay was a longtime volunteer in various capacities with Hockey Alberta, the governing body for amateur hockey in Alberta.
Tremblay is survived by his wife, Kelly; children, Zachary, Hayley, and Cassidy; parents Ray and Sue Tremblay; brothers, Derek (Kristen) Tremblay and their children; Brent (Jacquie) Tremblay and their children; parents-in-law Brian and Gloria Scowcroft; sisters-in-law, Lesley Scowcroft and Kristine (Don) Ritchie and their children; his grandmothers, Laurette Tremblay and Dorothy Gillespie; and grandparents-in-law, Bob and Eleanor Scowcroft and Jack Turner; along with the many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
