House Resolution (H.R.) 284, the Medicare DMEPOS (durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies) Competitive Bidding Improvement Act of 2015, was approved by the U.S. House of Representatives on March 16. Among other things, it will require state licensure and bid surety bonds for entities submitting bids under the Medicare DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program, as well as binding bids.
H.R. 284 now moves to the Senate for a vote.
