Innovative Prosthetics & Orthotics, with main offices in Hastings, Omaha, and Grand Island, Nebraska, in partnership with the 3D Research & Innovation Laboratory at Creighton University, has been awarded a $50,000 grant from Nebraska’s Department of Economic Development to develop low-cost, medical grade 3D-printed prosthetic devices. The grant program provides an opportunity for the state to partner with Nebraska businesses and universities to fund research and development activities that lead to new or better products, processes, and innovations that might not happen without investment from the state.
“The grant is a source of great pride to our clinic,” said Rakesh Srivastava MS, CPO, president and CEO of Innovative P&O. “It solidifies our relationship with Creighton University and shows our commitment to pioneer the use of emerging technology, research, and education to better serve patients in need of low-cost prosthetic solutions.”
