The four Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractors (DME MACs) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, August 26 to address the Local Coverage Determination (LCD) draft policy for Lower Limb Prostheses. The registration numbers have been so numerous that the event is being moved to a larger venue, the Westin Baltimore Washington, Crossland I Ballroom, 1110 Old Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum Heights, Maryland. It will also begin a half hour earlier; at 7:30 a.m. ET instead of 8 a.m. ET.
Four different issues will be discussed at this meeting, with the last being the LCD for lower-limb prostheses. The agenda will be available Monday morning, August 24, at www.NGSMedicare.com.
