Ekso Bionics Acquires Gravity-Balancing Arm Technology

Ekso Bionics Holdings, Richmond, California, announced it acquired the gravity-balancing arm technologies of Equipois, Manchester, New Hampshire. This was an all-stock transaction. In conjunction with the acquisition, Equipois has entered into supply and reseller arrangements with Ekso Bionics under which it will continue to sell its zero G™ and X-Ar™ products to its current manufacturing customers while Ekso Bionics will expand gravity-balancing arm technology into industrial construction programs for human augmentation solutions.
