Allard USA, Rockaway, New Jersey, announced the appointment of James Button as its new CEO. He assumed responsibilities on January 11 as successor to Carol Hiemstra-Paez. Hiemstra-Paez will continue as a corporate advisor.
“Since starting Allard USA, we have had the privilege of restoring quality of life to so many people with our braces,” Hiemstra-Paez said. “Jamie is the ideal person to continue that tradition since he has been an Allard brace-wearer himself and knows how important our O&P relationships are.”
Button, a management specialist, has led companies in a variety of industries including business telecommunications systems, oil refining, entertainment industry transportation, and methanol production. He was a private equity investor in leveraged buyouts following the start of his career on Wall Street as an investment banker in corporate finance. Button holds a master’s of business administration degree from the Harvard Business School. Since 2013 Button has served on the board of Allard USA’s Dralla Foundation, which supports programs for children and adults with physical challenges.
“My work with Allard USA’s charitable foundation has been rewarding,” Button said. “I appreciate the company’s confidence in my leading its business organization to a higher level.”
