The Amputee Coalition is accepting applications for the Christina Skoski, MD, Scholarship and the Scott Decker, MD, Memorial Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year. The $1,000 awards are each made in one payment to the student’s higher education institution upon verification of his or her full-time enrollment status. The application deadline for both scholarships is April 6.
The Christina Skoski, MD, Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students who have congenital limb differences or amputations and who are enrolled in a college or university program.
The Scott Decker, MD, Memorial Scholarship is open to high school seniors, recent high school graduates, adults returning to school, and current college students. Applicants must have an acquired or congenital limb loss, and be under 21 years of age, a military veteran, or active duty military personnel. Preference for the scholarship will be given to applicants residing in Maryland, though applications will be accepted from non-Maryland residents.
