biodesigns, Westlake Village, California, has hired the law firm of Fish & Tsang, Irvine, California, to assist with enforcement and licensing of its intellectual property portfolio. That portfolio includes several patents and pending applications covering aspects of its High-Fidelity™ (HiFi) socket technology for which it offers training and licensing events as well as online training and remote consulting.
“We want to ensure that if a prosthetist is using HiFi technology in a custom or modular application, that they are licensed and properly trained to do so,” said Julie Alley, president and chief marketing officer.
