The www.3ders.org website reported that Mecuris, Munich, Germany, a manufacturer of 3D-printed O&P devices has secured seed funding. The funding amount was undisclosed, but it is said to be a “significant investment” from “high-profile backers,” according to the website. Mecuris said it plans to use the funds to expand and further develop its cloud-based, artificial intelligence design technology and 3D-printed prostheses.
