Five OPAF First Clinics, coordinated by students in the O&P master’s programs at Eastern Michigan University (EMU) and California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), were held on March 18.
EMU hosted First Swim, First Dive Intro to Scuba, and First Paddle clinics at the Michael H. Jones Natatorium on campus; the events were sponsored by the University of Michigan O&P Center. It is the eighth consecutive year that EMU has hosted First Clinics.
CSUDH hosted its inaugural First Clinics event with First Fit, led by Nikki Hooks, CO, and First Swim, with Brenda Gustin and Jim Fitzpatrick, CP, in Irvine, California.
