Coapt Receives Class II Clearance for Myoelectric System

Coapt, Chicago, announced that its COMPLETE CONTROL myoelectric system for people with upper-limb loss has received Class II medical device clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company said this is the only myoelectric pattern recognition system to be cleared for marketing in the United States by the FDA.
