Kristin Carnahan, CPO, FAAOP, has joined Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) as an instructor in the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Carnahan will teach students in the master of science in prosthetics and orthotics (MSPO) program and guide their clinical practicum.

Carnahan majored in chemical engineering at Auburn University, and earned an MSPO in 2008 at Georgia Institute of Technology. She completed an orthotics residency at University of Michigan Orthotic and Prosthetic Center in 2009 and a prosthetics residency in 2010 at ProCare Prosthetics and Orthotics, Buford, Georgia. She continued as a staff CPO at ProCare until this year. She has teaching experience in physical therapy, physical therapy assistance, and MSPO programs.
