L3000 & Medicare Responses

So I got a lot of responses very quick! thank you all for your time.
I also received several asking me to share the responses:

Medicare pays for L3000 just when it is a part of a shoes which attached to the brace. in this case we need to use Kx and if we use Kx when we bill Medicare for L3000, wea?Tll get paid. Medicare does not need the proof of shoes and bracing to pay us however if they audit and find that there was NO shoes and brace, they will ask for money back!

So I think either DPMs who bill L3000 doesna?Tt know exactly about the coverage or they just take a risk!
