REBEL Bionics, developers of an upper-limb prosthesis for children, has formed a partnership with AM Healthcare Group, a provider of healthcare products and services including orthotics and prosthetics.
“We are thrilled to announce that REBEL Bionics has entered into a strategic partnership with AM Healthcare Group,” said Ted Varley, REBEL Bionics cofounder and CEO. “Their minority shareholding will facilitate the launch of the REBEL hand and expedite the development of future products.” The company expects to have the device on the market this year.
Varley, a mechanical engineer, is CEO and co-founder of REBEL Bionics, which was started in 2022. The company has a combined experience in O&P of more than 40 years.
