I am a student researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, working on my Masters in Orthotics and Prosthetics. This survey is designed to meet the requirements of my capstone project.
Your participation in this survey is much appreciated. The goal of this research is to find out about effectiveness, availability, and your satisfaction with current specialized prosthetic devices. This will help us to understand the limits of activity specific devices and plan necessary improvements. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may stop filling out the survey at any time if you change your mind.
The estimated duration of participation is 5 minutes. There are no risks associated with participation in this study. The common risk of breach of confidentiality is addressed by not collecting identifiable or sensitive information to begin with. Data from this study will only be reported in aggregated form so that information cannot be traced back to individual participants.
