Dear List:
We are in the process of fitting a TT amputee with a slow healing distal wound with a bent knee prosthesis with a knee disarticulation knee joint. If you had experience billing for such device, please let us know. Should we 1) bill as a TF prosthesis or 2) a TT prosthesis and add a knee joint? We will have to use a TT ICD-10 code anyway, so a TF code may trigger a discrepancy.
