Out of the norm for our area

Carey

We have a situation that is not the norm for our area Orthotists or physicians. We have a 6 hour old baby with a potential clubfoot deformity. Still in the NICU for some respiratory concerns but is 6 lbs 10 oz. The deformity appears to be mild and flexible according to the PT. But she nor I have ever been called to intervene this early. Any suggestions or articles concerning protocol would be appreciated! We typically see them later or even post operatively. Many times in mild cases we treat them much later for MTA.
