Where is everyone getting their prefab pediatric clamshell TLSO?
The DR needs them ASAP (so next day/ two days) and to be honest, I do them
maybe once a month so I don’t want to inventory them. (need toddler to
teenager sizes).We don’t do call/ but we get requested to see inpatients
while we’re in clinic.
Doctors here want a plastic clamshell, I’ve tried to talk them into some of
the Aspen type products and they won’t go for it.
I also, really don’t want to pay expedited shipping to have one made and
shipped overnight as I frequently don’t get paid for the rush shipping.
We’re in a bill the patient situation where they get it the day they leave
the hospital, and Medicaid don’t care that I had to overnight it and do a
rush fee.
