leather elephant boots

Markus Saufferer

Hi Colleagues,
I realize this request will go largely to that demographic of our professional colleagues who are either retired or are not yet using the internet or email. I have a bilateral chopart amputee who has requested leather elephant lace up boots to use as slippers around the house when not using his regular prostheses. (His previous, now retired, prosthetist made some for him when he was younger and the dog ate them.) Although I have some idea of what I’m shooting for, I’d appreciate any guidance, images, old tech manuals etc. from those with experience.
Thanks,

Markus Säufferer, B.Sc.(Kin), C.P.(c)
