Hello Everyone!
I have interest in hiring a technician / fitter and am wondering about what
is fair to pay them? The person has just completed a program at a local
community college (Joliet Junior College) and has completed a mastectomy
course. The college is a two year program.
They are not a fitter yet (still need to complete the 1000 hour
requirement), but have the fitters certificate. Moreover, they do no have
any real world technical experience that I know of. I am all about helping
someone to learn about O&P and getting them up to speed but I thought I
should ask everyone to get the going rate for this level of experience… I
just want to come to fair ball park figure.
