Re: A thought outside the box

Carey

All replies so far have been cheers. The one with value came from a national group with lobbyist that is looking into the legal aspects of approaching a congressman with such a request. To make sure that it is legal.

I do not see a negative in this approach. If you are shipping direct to patients, you too should be interested in the results of such a study or demonstration. Or either you simply do not care for the bracing industry at all. People that are shipping braces, know that they will miss the mark more than a practitioner with hands on. Their practice leads to patients stating, “braces do not work” and this devalues our entire industry. I have been in this industry for 17 years and I can tell you that I cannot ship any brace with a clean conscious. Our patients have demonstrated that they do not understand proper placement or positioning even after being shown in person.

I would petition you to do more than request the responses, I would encourage you as a manufacturer to back this effort.
