Hello list-serv,
I have been speaking to a hospital about contracting and they of course
would like a contract first. First question for the group is:
1) does anyone have a sample they are willing to share for wording examples
and basics
Second question is:
2) someone recently told me that as providers we are not supposed to
provide discounts to hospitals under Medicare allowable amounts since this
is a federal fee schedule. Does anyone know if this is correct and if so
how does a rule following practice battle other parties that are offering
discounts.
3) any assistance from people who have worked on hospital contracts would
be appreciated.
