If I am correct, I heard, according to the education outreach folks who ran the webinar today, even for O&P, when delivering an item (Prosthesis, Orthosis) to a client who resides in a SNF or who may be there under Part A and one is billing their Prosthesis to Part B, in addition to all other documentation, it is required to have a copy of the facility log for the items in some standard recieving format and that a copy of that log be in the client’s P&O clinical record.
Additionally, one should have in the P&O clinical record, documentation from the SNF that proves the client uses the device.
