I have a patient who needs a custom knight brace, old metal and leather
style, she has been in this type a brace for quite some time and is
unwilling to change. The L0634 code seems the most appropriate, however the
code does not have a medicare price. Does anyone know of a different code
that fits with a custom brace. She has a very unique torso secondary to
polio and an off the shelf is a very difficult fit.
