I am curious if there are many people in the field using Ipads? If so, how
have you found it to best serve you? What do you mainly use it for?
We are utilizing ipads with the OPIE software. We have found that picture
and video taking is a huge benefit. Right now we are using drop box to
transfer photos into OPIE as the OPIE app for Apple products does not have
an option for smooth loading of photos. Also, wish we could load videos
into OPIE for documentation purposes. Also digital signatures on the IPAD
are nice to be able to have patients easily sign a delivery receipt in the
room, nursing home etc.
Would love some input on anything you have found to make you more efficient
with using the ipad when seeing patients!!
