I am trying to find an appropriate recruitment avenue for an orthotic resident (or possibly a Board eligible CO). In looking at the NCOPE site, it seems the only manner is for the residents to look up the list of sites and send out resumes OR to put a general posting on the oandp classifieds. I am copying NCOPE to suggest that they allow the residency sites to be able “alert” when residency positions are open via their website (i.e. the residency site logs into NCOPE and posts a “flag” or “alert” when actively seeking a resident). As for the oandp classifieds, I would think for the resident, it would be a difficult listing if the resident has numerous geographical areas he/she is interested in possibly working in and then “zeroing” in on a particular site. Is there any “resident to site” match-up website or other avenue that I may have missed, like an o and p “match.com” ? Thanks for the insight in advance.
