Orthotic Knee Joint–need help identifying

Paul Rieth

Listservers:

I’m trying to identify a knee joint on an adult KAFO that is in need of
repair. It is a hip lever release type. The hip lever is huge–1.5″
wide plastic gray lever. The hip lever juts out of the “pulley”
mechanism (resembling a small hockey puck)–2.5″ wide by A?” thick, black
in color. The cables, enshrouded with plastic tubing, attach into the
superior aspect of the knee joints. The knee joint is modular and is
offset distally by about A?”. The joint itself is not offset, just where
the distal sidebar attaches. There is a plastic “snap” piece, about
the size of a dime, that inserts over the knee axis on the outside. On
the plastic snap piece is a red and blue logo. Red outlining. In the
center there are 3 blue markings that resemble “S”s in kind of a “wave”
fashion.

I’ve looked through all the usual suspect catalogs to no avail, along
with some other lesser known brands.

Thank you in advance.
