KO for knee buckling

Does anyone know of a functional (ligament style) KO that offers a stance control type of joint or other form of flexion resistance? My patient has some knee buckling issues but is otherwise independent. I recommended lightweight FROs, but the Dr is VERY insistent that the patient use a knee brace instead. Any ideas?
