Based on the response that i received, these are the recommended books:

i.    UCLA & NYU Upper Extremity Prosthetics manual

ii.   Comprehensive Management of the Upper Limb Amputee. (Diane J. Atkins,  Robert H. Meier) 
iii. Functional Restoration of Adults and Children with Upper Limb Amputations.(Meier and Atkins)  

iv. The Limb Deficient Child – Setoguchi & Rosenfelder 1982 Thomas Pub.
