Hello All,
I am hoping someone has some insite on how to help a difficult patient. This gentleman is in his 50’s, active and has an above knee amputation. He has been battling neuromas on his distal lateral femur for years. He has had about 27 surgeries on the residual limb. He has gone fron a long AK to a short. His pain level stays at a 9-10. Every doctor he has seen has just told him to take more medication. He would like to function. Does anyone know of a new or good treatment for neuromas? Thank you your assistance.
