After almost 40 years working with/facilitating Amputee Self-Help Groups, I am involved with starting another one aimed at working with/supporting those living in Eastern Los Angeles County — the area known as the San Gabriel Valley. The group — no name yet — meets the third Saturday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in our office at 1520 West Cameron Avenue, Suite 160, West Covina, CA 91790. We will start by getting acquainted — the program and emphasis will be developed based on the wants and needs of those who attend. Please pass the word to those you serve.
