2011 Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The Academy’s Annual Meeting Clinical Content Committee invites you to
submit abstracts for consideration for the 37th Academy Annual Meeting &
Scientific Symposium.
Submission Deadline: July 30, 2010
Abstracts MUST be Submitted Online
Presentation Categories
* Thranhardt Lectures – a research or evidenced-based presentation
* Free Papers – presentations that offer solutions to common problems,
patient and practice management techniques, innovative uses of
technology, or current research findings
* Poster Presentations – an overview of a clinically relevant subject,
such as a case study, critical review of the literature, or a new
technique where conclusions can be drawn
Abstracts will be considered for both the Thranhardt Lectures and Free
Papers. The Annual Meeting Clinical Content Committee will determine the
appropriate placement of all submissions. If you are not interested in
being considered for the Thranhardt Lectures you may indicate that on
the Call for Presentations form.
All abstracts must adopt the IMRD (Introduction, Materials and Methods,
Results/Discussion, and Conclusion) format and must use the online
submission template. Complete submission guidelines are available at
http://www.academyannualmeeting.org
All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Clinical Content Committee,
which reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts for inclusion in
the program.
