Let me introduce myself, I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has been
going to Haiti off and on for 35 years and hospital Sacra Couer in
Milot for 10 years. I was there after the earthquake and did many
amputations. Upon returning I realized the need for a prosthetic lab
at our hospital. With the help on Mike Richard CPO and our community
we constructed a lab in a container and have shipped it to Milot. We
are hoping to staff if with volunters. or goal is not only t make
prosthesis but to train Haitians to become prosthetsist. We are
asking a CPO CO or CO,there spouse and or tech to come for a week or
two. The hospital has a residency and room and board. The only
expense is there transportation and $40 gratuitiy for food and for
housekeeping. Ann Cullo is scheduling the trips and has more detail
