Good afternoon,
I would like to hear from amputees who are wearing elevated vacuum
sockets about how they handle going to the bathroom in the middle of the
night. Do you take the time to don your elevated vacuum socket? Do you
use another quicker (to don) prosthesis? Do you hop to the bathroom or
use a bedside urinal? I have a couple of amputees who are new to
elevated vacuum and are concerned with the amount of time it takes to
don the liner and socket.
