Socket pressure analysis

David Gross

I’d like  to be  sure  I posted this note  correctly  as one  person reported it  was  badly  scrambled in  “computerese.”
My inquiry is  whether anyone is using  pressure monitoring sensors as a regular part of  prosthetic fitting  or  for problem-solving pressure/pain problems. I did receive  an interesting  response regarding relatively  inexpensive  films  from  a  company called  Sensor Products. Tekscan also has  a product that is  available  and  more computer  adaptive, but it’s base price is  $7000, although  I understand they  have  a lease  arrangement for  about  $150 per month.  Contact information for Sensor is listed  below. I’ll be  glad to post  whatever  responses  I receive.
Thanks,
Dave Gross CP
