I have a local hospital that has asked me to provide a way to determine a bilateral lower limb amputee’s height. I seem to remember learning a formula at some point that determined the appropriate anatomical length of an amputated lower extremity. I use more crude methods in practice but they need a more specific determinant for providing specific medications. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
