Does an online Medicare Fee schedule exist that has hyperlinks to
regulations that explain the particular requirements for coverage for
each L code? (For instance, L1832 (Knee orthosis) is not covered when
it is to treat contractures.L4396 (AFO) is covered for contractures but
not ulcers, etc.) What a convenience that would be!
As it is now, we have to look them all up in the Medicare
manual/updates. Am I getting lazy or are there too many regulations?
