Mass-Health restores O&P coverage for Medicaid starting Saturday

Starting Saturday, Mass-Health will also begin again covering medically necessary eyeglasses, eyeglass parts, certain contact lenses, chiropractor services, orthotics, prosthetics and certain 24-hour post-medical detoxification substance abuse treatment services, said MassHealth spokesman Richard R. Powers.

All the services were eliminated by January 2003.
