Short AK and Hip Disarticulation

I would like some suggestions if possible. A new physician has presented a case to me with a short AK and Hip Disarticulation. Diabetes cause of amputation. What would a practioner do for this type of amputee. I think a canadian style socket and a narrow M-L socket would be a problem. Please give suggestions
