provided of the government requirement for a non-personal services for upper
Extremity Prosthetics at Walter Reed ArmyMedical Center (WRAMC), Washington,
DC.The proposed upper extremity
Prosthetics non-personal services includes , but is not limited to providing
the full range of prosthetic patient care, including, comprehensive
evaluations, assembly and delivery of prostheses, and follow-up prosthetic
care. Monitoring patient s progress when repetitive prosthesis changes are
requ ired and independently modifies or adjust the prosthesis based on the
patient s needs. Must be able to foresee problems in a recommended
prosthetic design, and will recommend changes after receiving the
physician s prescriptions. Will resolve most prosthetic problems through
clinical assessment, examination techniques, and physician consulta tion
prior to completing prosthesis. The Governmentcontemplates an award of
an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity, fixed-price contract having a
base term of one year and four (4) option
terms of one (1) year each. Anticipated RFP issue date is 25 March
2006. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
The applicable NAICS code is 339113 (Prosthetics); No. of Employee 500.All
responsible and qualified small business concerns may submit a
proposal that will be considered by th e agency.
